Summer Events... and a Somber Reminder of Food Allergy Awareness

Hi everyone! I have had an awesome summer with my two allergy warriors. Two successful vacations and only minor skin breakouts and exposures. Yeah!  I do want to give my heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Natalie Giorgi. According to the AP, Natalie's parents said,

"While our hearts are breaking over the tragic loss of our beautiful daughter Natalie, it is our hope that others can learn from this and realize that nut and food allergies are life-threatening."

I do hope that conversations are taking place all over the country with family and friends of food allergy sufferers. Awareness is key to prevention.

About the book...
I have been promoting "The Gluten Glitch", and need to give huge thanks again to Chandice Probst, who has dedicated her company, Gluten Free Calendar, to promoting and hosting GF events.

She has the brilliant idea of combining sporting events with gluten-free vendors for the GF community to enjoy! We had fun a few weeks ago with a Colorado Rockies baseball night. Big shout out to Lovely Lady Products, Crunchmaster... those new Grammy Crisps are the bomb, and to Gluten Free Dee, who helps get GF food to those less-fortunate. What a great crowd! Thank you to everyone.
